Fwd: Cinemax After Dark
Gentle Reader:
With the help of communist Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and his brother Raul led a bloody revolution against the Batista government. It's fair to say that Batista wasn't the greatest leader in his own right, but the Castro-led revolutionaries promised a "new day" under their leadership. You see, Fidel highlighted that the Batista government was evil, living among the high and mighty, unable to relate to the everyday Cuban. You see, Fidel would change that, bringing about economic equality and casting out those that had "power."
BUT, when Fidel actually got power, he hid his family away from the public, where they lived a life of wealth and safety from the unwashed masses. Social media has pulled back the veil on that, and we discover that the "cuba libre" really turned out to be what many Cubans refer to as "la mentirita," or, "the little lie." In a similar way, the veil was pulled back this week when we shared that Chairman Charity was riding around in a limo. Since our last email, we've learned from witnesses that Don Spencer and Brian Hobbs also rode around in the lap of 80's luxury with Chairman Charity. We have not confirmed that Dear Leader Wayne Hill rode in the fourgon, but he is believed to have enjoyed chauffeured luxury along with the afore-mentioned names.
So....what we have is people out of power leading a revolution promising to be different, promising to be inclusive, but muttering under the surface that they aren't done changing the regime. Now they are in power, enjoying the high life, saying that they want inclusion of all republicans, but the revolutionaries they have fomented are getting restless with the niceties. Which leads us to....
Our introduction of a new character,
Ray Adam Modisette. Some call him 'Moto,' but we refer to him as 'BMX," basically because he thinks he's as cool and powerful as a motocross competitor, but he's really just a ten-year-old jumping off of ramps on his sidewalk. Like many of the action figures, BMX has had problems with the law, including legal action for unlawfully carrying a weapon, a warrant for his arrest for carrying that weapon, his arrest at the Oklahoma County Courthouse for carrying a weapon through security, and what appears to be opposition to a claim of paternity in Cleveland County District Court and subsequent divorce. He's the dude that walks around with a really long beard to hide his weak chin and bragging about his service as a Marine. (Don't get us wrong, serving our country in any branch is important, but brandishing it like an old high school letterman's jacket is a bit pathetic.) Why do we tell you all of this? Well, for a couple of reasons:
1) While still unclear how, BMX is affiliated with the leadership of the limo company that is driving around party officials; (compare the new regime's OKGOP website with the VIP OKC website)
2) BMX unabashedly has worked to advance the Oklahoma Patriot Party for years as a competitor to the Republican Party, and
3) to remove the veneer of "inclusion" Chairman Charity is advancing, Adam has been publicly making statements, in writing, such as,
"I am quite sure she was not planning to attend anyways, but anyone with Pam Pollard's contact info, feel free to let her know she will be trespassed and asked to leave if she shows up at Boots & Bling"
BMX has also banned A.J. Ferate from OKGOP events. (We'd actually like to see a Navy guy and a Marine throw fists; BMX is about the size of a malnourished meth head, so we're thinking the Navy would come out on top in that one.) Where BMX's authority comes from (other than hubris) is beyond us, but it is what it is. Maybe A.J. should lock the current leadership out of the headquarters? He is the chairman of the trust that owns the office building, and by all accounts has maintained a professional relationship with Chairman Charity, but BMX motorboating his mouth (intentional use, he's probably never done that to a girl - Ronda Smith can explain how that works, BMX) isn't constructive.
The problem is that BMX is going after folks that are minding their own business and staying out of the way. Unless BMX is off of his PTSD meds (high likelihood) he should take a step back and recognize he's just an E-5 in an officer's world.
Kudos to another
Action Figure with legal mix-ups, DEI Krems. Krems is back to making poor choices online and actually accused Pam Pollard (again, why are we going after a lady that is staying out of the way) of creating part of the problem with the FEC. When presented with the reality that she didn't, he deleted his comments. You're either growing, Krems, or afraid of a lawsuit. About time on both accounts, Jonathan.
Now, here's the big news
that broke on Friday afternoon: During an executive session of the State Board of Education, Ryan Walters had a TV on in his office. At one point, two members of the board saw what appeared to be nude women appear on the screen. The board members that saw this said it appeared to be "retro in nature." Read the article for the detail, but it sounds like there was a clear view of full-frontal female nudity.
We often write very critically of Ryan Gosling Walters, but rather than doing that, we admittedly have a LOT of questions before we jump to conclusions. Those include:
- Was the tv connected to cable tv, streaming, or a laptop computer?
- Who had access to the tv, and who had been in the room prior to the meeting?
- Who had the ability to change what the tv was showing?
- Was the TV on Cinemax?
- Does the HBO streaming platform offer old "after dark" movies?
- We are told that Gosling didn't know how to turn off the tv. Does this suggest someone else knows how to operates it/watches with him?
We are not ready to jump in and begin accusing him of gooning (look it up on urban dictionary) but what we will say is that an elected official that didn't act like a jackass all of the time might be given the benefit of the doubt. But Walters has absolutely no benefit banked up. He has alienated nearly everyone that has worked with him, so who wants to stick their neck out for him? The Speaker and Pro Tem did the right thing and called for an investigation into the matter. Honestly, we'd like to think there's an explanation here. But if occam's razor applies here, maybe Jerry Falwell Jr. and Pornhub Walters are one in the same.
For his sake, we hope that isn't the case. How is this guy going to feed his kids after next November? That's the question on our minds. He can't teach, can't go be a superintendent, can't be put in a public or lobbying role, so what does he do? Anyone have ideas?
That's all of the news that's fit to publish today,
